Its the time of the year again...

Ho Ho Ho!!! Merry Christmas!!! I love Christmas. Even tho' I dont celebrate it but each year without fail, I enjoyed Christmas the most. Its a time we meet up with friends to have dinner and to chat and laugh and all with hopes and wishes for the coming new year... Hmm, I can't wait for Christmas this year... I am going to get myself a Christmas tree this weekend. Oscar saw it during out shopping trip to The Curve and he loved it. So, to make my little boy happy, I am planning to go get a medium size tree with lights and deco to give him a surprise... and I must not forget the candy! To everyone, wishing you all a MERRY CHRISTMAS (ya la ya la... still early la, but I like!)

I'm Loving It!

I blogged abt my McD experience sometime ago last few weeks...You can read it all HERE... its the McD in Sunway Pyramid..now I am participating in some "Share Your McDonald's Experience' thingy

Let see what the orang putih thinks abt this ok?

Oscar says the Darnest Things

Yes, my Oscar says the darnest things! The below are some of it which I dont know whether to laugh or cry or scold!

Scene 1: Me and Oscar have to take a shower together cos need to go somewhere urgently.
Oscar: (pointing at my er... 18SX part) Why not same wan with Oscar mommy?
Me: (Blur ledi) Er, cos I am MOMMY and you are OSCAR lor... so not same wan.
Oscar: (Giggled giggled) He he... so funny wan...

Scene 2: Me and Oscar in the lift full of people
Oscar: (Making a funny face) Mommy, Oscar 'puut' (Farted) so smelly.... (giggled giggled loudly)

Scene 3: Me cleaning Oscar's toys
Oscar: Mommy, why you play with my toys?
Me: I am cleaning it for you.
Oscar: No, you are playing my toys... dont play, you didnt ask me...
Me: I am not playing, just cleaning
Oscar: Mommy, dont play ok. Dont make Oscar angry ok...
Me: @#$%^&%

Scene 4: In Toys R Us one day..
Oscar: Mommy, I want to buy that toy car
Me: Dont want la, the other day papa buy one for you already.
Oscar: Not same wan, I want I want...

Need a Vacation

As you can all see from my MSN tagline, I wanted to go on long leave... not really long long-leave la, maybe two days la... So, I am planning to take mom away from town and to jalan-jalan somewhere near. Have to be near just in case hubby got to travel back the following day for work. So, I am thinking somewhere in PD (which there is nothing to eat) or Melaka (which I am contemplating on which hotel to stay in)

So, fellow bloggies... any suggestion for me? I wanted to take Oscar to a place whereby there is a beach for him to play. This little rascal managed to dug out his beach set which I hid it nicely in the store room and keep on bugging me non stop telling me he wanted to play with it. I let him play during bath time now to stop his 'mommy mommy i want to play with this'.... sigh!

I Love Weekends

I just love weekends. Not only that I get to spend time with Oscar, I get to do things which I can't do during weekdays... like meeting up with friends.. Met up with Jazz, Annie, Sasha, Alice and Esther. Everybody was very lovely and the kids was really cute... you can check out here for more photo...
AND HERE

On Sunday, we head to Serdang for lunch and after lunch, we head to Jusco at Equine Park. Yes, its our second time there and its also classified as one of our eat-full-nothing-to-do trip... but lunch was reeeeeaaaaalllllyyyy gooooood... We had Yong Tau Foo at the famous Leong Ya Restaurant in Serdang (you may want to contact blogger Tracy for the location-hehe). The signature dish; paper wrapped chicken tasted extra yummy-li-cious as the gravy is very tasty and also nice to eat with rice. Oscar loved the gravy too. We also order the famouse fried sui kow but me busy eating so didnt take picture. When you order their famous sui kow, you will not be dissappointed cos the look of the sui kow is like... as if its pregnant! Huge and full of stuffings and yummm.. We ordered Sang Har Chow Mean and its tasted good too (too oily only) but really good. And of course, the assorted yong tau foo needs no explanation to those who have patroned this place before. Their yong tau foo stuffing are just too generous. We ordered 10-pcs and we couldn't finish... Hubby finnaly stuffed himself till he turned up-side down! So, here are some really good food we had over the weekend.

After lunch and our shopping trip, we head home to zzz to get ready for dinner at my in laws. Nothing special, its just pot luck so I made spaghetti, fruit salad and fried chicken. We had other food like satays, pizza and desserts. Food was good (I cook wan ma, so good lor) and I ate till I can't move.. hehe... Some pics too...

Thank you Mommy....

This is a letter that I am writing for Oscar as I dont want myself to forget how much I love him.....

Scenario:
Yesterday Evening; pick up Oscar. Oscar went into the car, saw a new cartoon CD pouch... very happy and non stop thanking me... Reached home, we had this conversation...

Oscar: Mommy, thank you so much mommy...
Mommy: Why? (busy preparing dinner)
Oscar: For this... (sneaky face, slowly pulling out the CD pouch (I didn't know he brought it down from the car.. he must have put it inside his toy bags quietly)
Mommy: Aww, you are welcome Oscar...
Oscar: (wanting to say more but got interrupted by 'Bob the Builder' Theme song!!)

I know Oscar want to tell me this cos the whole nite he held my hand and keep on calling mommy mommy.... like a gazillion times....

He want to say: THANK YOU SO MUCH AND I LOVE YOU MOMMY... cos he said it before he went to bed...

Me reminding myself:
My dear Oscar,
Sometimes, you make mommy so mad that mommy will always want to reach for the cane whenever mommy sees you play with mommy's phone, the TV remote, the laptop etc etc...

But, whenever mommy look deep into your eyes, mommy realised that you are just being very playful... more playful than other kids around you. I guessed, that makes you extra special and I guessed, that is also the reason why mommy want to punish you so badly... so that you dont be a spoil brat someday!

Mommy love you so so so much (till eternity that is...) and remember, be good ok...

Love you much,
Mommy...

(ok, another eat full nothing to blog punya post... but yesterday Oscar was different from any other day and different from the days he received a gift from us... the CD pouch was not even a gift for him!)

Grrr....stressful Monday

Today again must be those everything-must-go-wrong day!

First thing first, somebody must come into the office to give news I dont want to listen.

Second, my plans for my colleague got to re-shuffle cos this somebody again; wants to step in and help me jeopardise it... talk-alot... NATO!

Third, one really LCLY customer must pissed me off to the max! Eh, pls la, you also makan gaji only, so dont try to act as if you are the boss ok! I am not boss, but I got my facts right so I lagi kuat suara than you ok! What, report me la... me not scared ok!

Then, last but not least, went home only to realised that I forgot to go get some stuff from a friend which I needed it for my work tomorrow. Really hate my day! Luckily, there's a consolation prize hidden for me ... to compensate for all the crazi-ness I have to go through today...

* This is not my consolation prize la... He is my winning OSCAR prize... *Muaks*
TODAY, I RESOLVE; I AM NOT GOING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT WORK... this will be my final post about me COMPLAINING about work! Thank you...

My weekend up-dates

Photos from my previous weekend and yesterday and today; all lumped into one slide... cos me lazy (and ter-left my camera at my mom's place for a week!)

Saturday.
Went to MV for shopping with my mom and had lunch at The Little Penang...Wow, I am surprised on the traffic flow here cos the last time we went, it was like soooo quiet. I bought McD for Oscar, mom had their set lunch and I had their signature Nasi Lemak. For dessert, we ordered their Pulut Hitam. Food rating, 7/10; couldn't get 8/10 cos mom's set lunch was a little bit cold and my Nasi Lemak... hmmm, something is not right with their sambal... tasted a bit weird compared to our previous visit. Dessert was erm, very thick! the Pulut Hitam is very thick and the chef decide to give us like half pot of Santan for us to go with it! Too much santan and turned the pulut tasted sweet and salty at the same time... but overall, still a very satisfying meal. Bought some stuff and head home to get ready for dinner with my brother and dad...We had 'Tai-Chow' in one restaurant in OUG. Food was nice and price was very reasonable. Food rating, 8/10. We ordered more food but I only managed to capture their famous Asam Fish (very recommended), Hong Siew Pai Kuat (very recommended) and Choy-Tham (very er, old la). We ordered Koo Low Yoke, Claypot Toufo and Lemon Chicken... Service was fast and portion is very generous. We wanted to order crab but their very honest, told us that their crab is a little bit too small... so ask us to consider before ordering. So we decided to cancel the crab. Maybe next Sunday I'll bring mom to another famous place for crab (I'll do a food review later then). Dinner was great and I love it even better cos when I pay for the bill, it was oni RM100 (a little bit lesser).. and great company of course..

Sunday.
As usual, we spent the whole day zzz and me pulak, spent time to be part time tailor. I altered two pants for hubby and boy; I think I must start charging hubby la. Cos, my eyes is painful and very tiring la. Then, later we met up with a friend and her family for dinner at The Curve. We wanted to try Marche (recommended by Annie) but it was very full. Then, we went to TGI, lagi teruk, must wait for 25mins! The kids are hungry so we settled for ViVo instead. To my surprise, their food was ok. Food rating; 7/10. And once again, great company... Oh, I bumped into another blogger there too...
Mommy of 2 Angels

Ah... very tired now... and had fun chatting with Annie too...

I went to a very Dahsyat Sale!

Yesterday I took leave. Yes, I went to the mad mad mad Jusco member's day sale in MidValley. It was so mad, that the sale starts ad 7am and so does the jam and the long q to the parking lot. I knew cos a friend of mine took leave and she went like 6.30!!!!!! I went later but the jam already started on the stretched towards MV.... jam was all the way in Old Klang Road... Asked hubby to take me there so that hubby can help with the stuff I bought and also with anticipation when paying, they will be MAD Q as well... So hubby can Q and I can go grab more stuff! I was wrong! Half way shopping, hubby got to go attend to his customer! I was left alone in the mad house!!! Aikes, dont care, continue shopping. Carry the bags around like mad woman... fighting for stuff with other mad woman..

Not that everything I want is cheap la... I wanted to get some bras but the ones that fit and I like was not on sale (ok la, 10% oni la) and those that is like 50% or 70% are really ugly ones and not my size! Damn, conclusion; cannot get bra during sale cos no size and the Q to the fitting room was like as long as the Great Wall...

Bought some t-shirts, some clothes for Oscar, a pants for hubby, something for my parents and that's about it. Went to look at toys section, didn't find what I like so I proceed to the kitchen area.... Saw a wok but only 3 left; 2 out of the 3 the handle was like really loose... and the other one, a lady was holding on to it, contemplating to buy or not to buy and I loose my patience, I went on to another section... Walk walk, see see and bought some other stuff which I dont need! See la, sale is like this one... wa, very cheap cheap wor, but when you went home to examine, you dont really need this; but you fought for it, you Q like a mad woman .... and when you got it, its like lying in the store room, still intact in the same plastic bag! Just like what I did! And to add on to the CRAZI-NESS of the sale, ALL the credit card terminal were KAPUT! Down I mean. The lines are too busy so everybody trying to pay but the credit card line just dont want to dial in... So, everyone was like making a bee line Q and the Q is not moving at all... very crazy cos I lined-up for like 30mins and the Q is not moving at all... Luckily, they announced that they will be doing manual credit card paying system (neh, with that thing that goes 'ka-chak'.....then you sign one yellow chit). Really mad cos I see people scolding the cashiers, why scold the cashier; not their fault what! Chi Sin! Then during commotion, sure got people 'chan for tar kip' try to cut the line... I KNOW WHO YOU ARE... dont pretend innocent when you noticed I am looking at you!!!

After the mad mad Q on the non-food section, I grabbed my heavy shopping bags and make a crawl to the supermarket. I was another horrible experience! Why? NO SHOPPING TROLLEYS! Why no shopping trolleys? Cos some aunties and uncles got only 1 pair of hands but want 3 trolleys! I asked one uncle "Uncle, you got 3 trolleys, can give me one? Look, me and my bags, how to take the basket?" The uncle with no mercy answered "Kenot, I take ledi cos I got a lot of things to buy!" So, never-mind, I went around searching and looking and then I saw some aunties took Carrefour's trolley... then I also smart, went and try to take but there's a guard at the Carrefour's trolley bay... You take Carrefour trolley, I MUST SEE YOU GO INTO CARREFOUR...Too bad, I didnt make an attempt. Then I went around looking again and luckily I saw 3 trolleys lying quietly in one corner.... Waiting for what? I ran like a mad woman again and took it. Went into the supermarket to get groceries... nothing much is cheap in groceries section, the common oil, rice is cheap. Their purchase with purchase items also only a few.... Then I also went to buy some of the PWP items and make a bee line Q... Then saw this uncle with his Indonesian maid in front of me.... Showed his receipts and told the people there "Ini Milo, saya mau 80 paket!... Cepat, masuk penuh ini dua trolley" Then the people there said, "Uncle, tengok, {Only 2 per customer} sorry ah"... That stupid uncle ah... cannot read is it! Keep on arguing and make the Q even longer (cos want to make the PWP, must line up also)... The I cut into their argument, "Eh, stop arguing, I only want one, just give it to me and let me move on with my life!" And that's my exact word! Then the guy also pity me... gave me one packet and let me carry on with my live! Paid my goods... walk some more, and guessed what! Cilakak... when I finished, I still see the uncle whom I begged trolley from; lingering in the supermarket; WITH 3 TROLLEYS ON TOW! Damn angry...

After the horri-gi-ble walking and buying, I called hubby to come and fetch me... and hubby said "Dear, the jam is very bad la.... If I come now, I might take about 1 hour plus... and when I arrived hor, I also scared if I cannot enter the area la... very very jam" Then I said "Dim hou... I how la? Ok, never mind, I think I can still carry these bags.... I take monorail. You fetch me from the station" So, there I am, pushing the trolley looking for the monorail station and I even pushed the trolley further; beyond the trolley area cos I really beh tahan... then only I abandoned the trolley to go get the mono ticket and board the train.... Only 2 stops... so I rang hubby again to go to the station to fetch me... all the pushing and waiting and riding in the train; its only 30mins... compare to hubby coming over, I think its worth the Carry-The-Bags-Until-I-Die time.....

Arrived home already dead tired.... Really madness! I think next time I don't want to go la.... Sked sked! Hehe....

As tight as a knot!

As tight as a knot! That is exactly how my brain feels like now. Today is one of those 'woke-up from the wrong side of the bed-DAY' , 'bad hair-DAY' , 'what are you thinking-DAY'... all lumped into one!

Woke up in the morning feeling rather sleepy cos I didn't sleep well last night. Could be some 'terra' tea I had at my mom's place but this doesn't usually happened to me. I can have expresso a few shots and still sleep like a baby.

First thing first, somebody have to piss me off in the morning by yelling like a mad person. Then I have to organise tomorrow's work as well as I want to go on leave tomorrow and also on Friday. It seems like I cannot leave my desk... not that I have tonnes to do, but I prefer to handle everything myself if possible. I dont like to pass my responsibility or my work to other people. Also, not that I dont trust other people, err... you know or not, that kind of weird feeling....So, very worried, asked my colleague like a gazillion times if she needs anything, she can call me or if she understands the tech's work or if there is anything wrong, always go for Plan B etc etc.... And also because Amah just came back from Milan, so I dont want her to kick in and take over my work... I think she has things to sort out too.

Me going on leave is because I want to SHOP! Crazy la me.... Member Sale la.... Jusco MV. Then the following day is to take Oscar to a kindy orientation. Why have orientation now? Me tarak tau... Am still contemplating on which kindy to send Oscar to next year. So, I am going to go to another 2 more schools to look around. Including these last two, I have went to all 4 schools! Die la me... still haven't decide yet. And hubby as usual, 'YOU DECIDE LA'... so, my shoulder very heavy la. And I want to take mom out for lunch on Friday too.... long time didnt spend time with her... Wow, I have a list of activities on coming Sat and Sun too, so I must make good use of my leave and spend time with mom.... and my Oscar

Croc-co-DIE..

I wanted to get a pair of this for Oscar on Saturday during our 'eat-full-nothing-to-do' trip to Lot 10. When hubby looked at the price tag, he fainted! It took him quite a while to regain conciousness. Its RM119.90 per pair, and that is also for Oscar's size... for my size, its RM159.90! Again, hubby almost fainted when I grabbed one of those 'one-sided' shoe and let Oscar try. Hubby shivers... but can't do anything cos he knows very well 'i want means he must pay' policy. So, Oscar tried one pair and before I knew it, I flipped the shoe to look at the required size for Oscar, I realised that this pair of RM100++ rubber moulded shoes is MADE IN CHINA! DAMN IT! How come made in China so expansive wan! I can't believe this. At least Made in Thailand I felt better.... cos TOYOTA is made in Thailand now... MADE IN CHINA, I cannot accept liow! I put back the shoe and head to the bakery to buy myself some sinfully freshly baked bread to eat and to kill my addiction on this pair of shoes... My Gawd.......

Yes Boss!

This is a typical scene at home (sorry for the blur photos, left my camera at mom's). First pic; Oscar enjoying his snack while watching tv. Second pic; ordering me "mommy... where is my fruit!".....
So, do you want to have another kid to boss you around? I dont think so!

My previous weekend aktvt

A very outdated post. We went to Sunway Pyramid last weekend cos I needed a new pair of glasses.. after some cute face making and some pleading, hubby paid for my new pair of glasses... hehe, must make cute face more often, then can lure him into my trap to get new stuff... haha!

We parked at the new hotel Sunway Lagoon Theme Park Hotel. We purposely parked at this new hotel cos we want to take a look and also to check out how is the whole Sunway City are linked together. Beautiful... Took some photos and head to the spectacle shop. The shop assistant pissed me off cos he kept on pushing me for something I dont like and their price is very misleading. What can you derived from this sentence "Price of RMXXX is inclusive of frame and lense"? Understood-ted that it comes with the frame AND ALSO THE LENSE right? I mean, I can understand if I need to top up abt RM 100 for extra multi-coated lenses etc or RM300 for some HOYA lenses. But, this place is like taking my arm off my body when they presented me the price for my new pair of glasses! Its far more than what I have expected. I straight away told the assistant that my budget is within RMXXX and pls let me have something within this price range. His facial expression changed entirely... keep on telling me that its not nice to take cheap lenses la, its make me look like LAM AH CHAN la, its going to scratch la etc etc etc! I feel like walking off from the shop but I really want to get my glasses done and get it over with. Its something that is overdue for quite some time; yeap cos I am lazy. So, I sternly told the assistant to custome my glasses 'punya' price with the frame and the lense I wanted. I have been wearing glasses for 10 years, so I know what is what and which is which! Dont try your luck on selling me something that is far more expansive than its worth! Grrr.....

Then we head for lunch or rather tea cos its pretty late liow. Then this place have to make my blood boil!

The cashier who is attending to me, took my order and yakked away with the fella next to him! Hellow, its a weekend and the restaurant is like a mad house (full house I mean), so pls dont waste time and get on with our orders! Then he took my drink, but didnt take it to the tray immediately, he yak and brought my drink up and down! Blardy hell, I dont want to drink his saliva la, so I sound him. He quickly exchanged it! Then, I ordered Oscar's HAPPY MEAL, but as usual, I will replace the fries with the corn. Again, that i-di-ot, took my order and pretend that I am speaking some foreign language... making the Q so darn long! And that guy behind me non-stop hissing like a snake.... What, my fault ah if this restaurant hired some i-di-ots to work! So, I shouted that fella who took my order and gave him a piece of my mind and told him dont waste my time, just give me the damn fries and shut his mouth up! And I even gave that guy behind me a horrible looking face cos he could not stop hissing sssssssss!

See, weekends can be very happy still with the correct company... Can just ignore the not-so-important people you bumped into or come in contact with! My lovely Oscar can 'mencairkan' all anger!

An Accident!

As boring as Oscar can be, he can be very creative... look what he did out of his boring-ness!

He created an accident scene! Ok, let this mommy explain...

* Porche 'ter-knock' one construction worker (this is how Oscar explained to me, I'm serious!), then the policeman came. Two policeman came with the police car and 'check-out' the accident scene. Policeman in red came later too. Then the guy in green is a doctor... checking out if the construction worker is still alive or not. The ending, nope 'sei jor' the construction worker. The guy driving the Porche is 'gong' (GONE) too... Hit and run case!. THE END *
*Sigh*... what else Oscar will do next time when he is bored again...

Hot Cross Buns...

"Hot Cross Buns, hot cross buns
One a penny, two a penny hot cross buns"
Yeap, I bought these buns for Oscar so that he can eat it a mom's place for snack.
*Choco Mexican Bun & Chic Floss Bun
I like to go to this bakery near my mom's place (Bee's) to get buns. So, when we stepped into the bakery, Oscar was already asking me to get him his raisin buns... but, when he saw the Mexican Bun, he started singing! Yes, he started singing in LOUD the Hot Cross Buns song! Sang once and repeat again loudly. I had to get one for him to calm him down! Oscar labelled the Mexican Bun as the hot cross buns because in his fav carton, The Wheels on the Bus, one of the cartoon actually sang the song and helf one bun that looks very similar to the M.Bun, just with the cross!

The people in the shop all laughed and I have to say, I am very proud of Oscar... he is very cute.. until the cashier have to give him some cake to eat...

Jalan Jalan Cari Makan (Round 2)

Yes! Amazing as it is, it has been 1-week since we met with our blogger friends. Wow, time really flies.... And, thankfully, LaundryAmah, suggested we meet our blogger friends o-gain (cos Saturday I will usually rot at home, hubby got Badminton game). But, unfortunately, due to short notice, we only managed to gather Annie. Despite of the shortest notice of this gathering, we managed to gather Annie and her hubby and also got to know a yummy place to have dinner... Look at what we had till we flip!

We had steamboat, but not some 'calang-calang' steamboat; its PORRIDGE STEAMBOAT! This is the first time I hear and ate this kind of unique and yummi-li-cious steamboat. How you eat it? You just 'chuck' all the stuff into the hot pot of porridge... wait till it goes 'brup-brup' (boil-la) then .... DIG IN! We dig in even before it boils... so hungry la... then, I noticed they served Chinese Tea in this "chi sar char woo*.. very unique. We only use this kind of tea pot at home but in restaurant, this is the first time.

LaundryAmah brought both her wonderful kids along and also LaundryApah. OMG.. Kylie was a little bit hyper (too much zzz wor Amah said). Luckily, Amah brought her maid along so Kylie was manageble. Annie was clever this time, she left Lil Fearless & Cruz at home with the maid... hehe can 'jiak' in peace! I brought my Oscar and also, after me giving 'terra' warning at home, he behaved himself throughout (except for the last 15 mins, running ard like a wild stallion in the restaurant). And, I was very surprised that Annie's hubby is so chatty and friendly. Well, usually we woman will be the one talking and yakking non-stop but, Annie's hubbs was really max yakking and very humourous! Made me and Amah laughing and gave my stomach stiches!

Waliow, this meal was superb cos we all left with a full stomach... and satisfied. Most of all, we had really good company.... Really looking forward to our next gathering.. Hopefully we will be able to gather more bloggers.... (Pssstt, dont ask me for the address of this restaurant ok, cos I only know how to go... but address 'tarak'... Its somewhere in Taman Minang, Cheras)

I cooked Pork!!

If I can escape, I usually don't want to cook pork cos me myself dont eat pork. Me halal-wan... hehe. I still remember two days before the previous Chinese New Year, I went to the market alone to buy some poutry and also to get some pork bones and lean meat for CNY cooking... The moment I walked into the pork section, I felt like vomitting cos of the horrible smell. But, I have to accomplish my mission! But, half way, I beh-tahan liow, I dashed out and throw up at the nearby 'longkang'. Passerby thought this pregnant woman vomitting in the market! Therefore, from that incident onwards, I make sure I ask mom to get pork bones for my soup... I usually go with mom and I will wait far far away and mom will go get it for me... Thanks Mom.

So, after reading Sasha's 'Tidak DiTanggung Halal' post, I decided to make my mom's version of Steam Pork... The result, ok... hubby said its too salty, BUT I LIKE IT! HAHA...

* Boleh ah Sasha-sifu?*

Overall rating: 6.5/10..... the Big King said too salty ma so didnt gip me 8/10 lor....

Nothing to Do

While I was busy with my teeveebee series last night and hubby had to do some deliveries, Oscar is left alone once again. He told me he is sleepy so I asked him to 'oi oi' inside the room while waiting for me to finish the show first.

This is what he did while waiting for me:-

Two of Oscar's 'FRIENDs'
*Piggy & bear..lying lifeless behind!
Cutting 'nails' for his friend. This skill he learned from daddy...

What's this? He took double sided tape from the drawer and tried to give his friend a bandage!

*Sigh*... my son really so sien la... I love you Oscar.
